If you are new to cycling we can offer you advice on getting started as well as lessons or guidance in a friendly, safe environment to get you going.
If you are just getting back into cycling we run group rides and training for varying levels as well as casual intermediate rides which are open to anyone who would like to build confidence or just join for fun.

VELOWORLD TRAINING
Maintenance Classes for the Home Mechanic
Weekend courses now available. £160 for a 2 day course
Saturday and Sunday course from 9,30 to 5pm. You will learn to fully assess the condition of your bike and repair most common problems, as well as being able to practice regular scheduled services yourself
Day one: Tools and work safety overview. Torque specifications. Bike safety check. Drive train and brakes check. Regular maintenance. Tyres and tubes. Tubeless. Headset and Bottom bracket service. Basic wheel truing
Day two: Brake system inspection, set up and service. Cables and pads replacement. Drive train and gears inspection, chain and cassette replacemen, set up and indexing. Cables replacement. Hubs, overview and adjustment. Time for questions and discussions regarding specific components
All tools and equipment provided. Classes delivered by Gerardo, a Cytech level three Master Technician qualified mechanic. You will be bringing your bike, but for most of the practice and procedures you will be using our bikes unless you’re feeling confident enough to work on your own bike…under your own risk!
This is a group class with a maximum of 5 attendees per course
